A once-a-week, 30-minute, full-body strength workout. Just you and a trainer in a private, low-key studio.

You have probably discovered that we begin to lose muscle mass sometime in our 30s, and it continues as we get older. If we don't replace the muscle, it is naturally replaced with fat. With our mindful, heavy-duty resistance band workout, the major muscles and core are safely worked deeply and thoroughly. So much so that it only needs to be done once a week. The muscles safely reach maximum exertion in a very short amount of time by slowly lifting and lowering the load without pausing between repetitions.  Private Workout Studio In the Hollywood Riviera

No music. No juice bar. No social scene. The Workout Garage is all about a safe and focused, core-strengthening, one-on-one full-body workout. Our slow-motion, high-intensity workouts are done with heavy-duty resistance bands and customized to each individual, and any physical limitations are taken into consideration. (We have had clients with hip replacements, knee replacements, arthritis, bursitis, partially torn rotator cuffs and partially torn meniscuses.) Each session consists of single sets of continuous motion, mindful repetitions. Sessions last about 30 minutes and need to be done only once a week. 

The Workout Garage is a comfortable studio located in the Hollywood Riviera neighborhood of Redondo Beach. Scheduling is flexible, and sessions are usually available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am-2:00 pm.

 
 
 
 

Health Benefits

Mindful strength training has almost immediate results. The percentage increase in muscle strength can be significant even after a few 30-minute weekly sessions. This is great news for anyone wanting to improve overall health and facilitate healthy aging. For post-menopausal women, intense muscle stress is essential as a stimulus for increasing bone density. Jeff Grossman

Owner and Trainer

Jeff Grossman is certified as a Personal Trainer by the American Council on Exercise. He is also certified to specifically conduct slow-motion, high-intensity strength training sessions. He has been training clients in this unique strength training workout for over 9 years, and he has trained as many as 65 clients a week.

The Workout: Each session is a private, individually-coached, 30-minute full-body workout on high-quality, heavy-duty resistance bands perfect for slow-motion, high-intensity strength training. 

Introductory Session: $25  
60-75 minutes to learn about and experience the workout and make sure it is right for you. (Waived with the purchase of a package.)

Package: $500: 10 sessions @ $50 per session.

If you refer someone who buys a package, you will receive one free session.
